It started with a dream. In 2009, I had a dream of creating a line of bake mixes for people who have a love for clean organic foods, a healthy lifestyle, and a sweet tooth for one of life’s greatest indulgences- fresh baked treats! As a mom of four boys, I have always been passionate about home cooked meals that are delicious, nutritious, whole and organic and I strongly feel that dessert should be no exception. The perfect dessert should be light- delicious, nutritious, whole and organic. After weeks of playing with organic flour, gluten-free flours, organic cane sugar, flax seed meal, dark organic chocolate chips, oat flours, rolled oats and organic nuts and fruit- my first winner was born; Chocolate Chip Love- which if you haven’t yet tried- is an insanely delicious simple gluten-free twist on a classic chocolate chip cookie. My boys raved over it. My husband begged for me to bake them every night. And so, “ginnybakes” was born! A year and a half later, after much experimentation and research- I have create a line of gluten-free, organic, clean bake mixes and fresh baked treats for everyone to enjoy. They are all delicious, natural and organic- which means they are free of any preservatives, chemicals, and refined sugars. Are more recipes are in the works? You bet. I want to satiate everyone’s sweet tooth organically with ginnybakes and learn how simple, easy and organic, home made baking can now be! I hope you enjoy them again and again. You won’t be disappointed. xo ginny

- January 16, 2012 - Hi--
- January 5, 2012 - Good Afternoon, Just wanted to let you know how DELICIOUS your products are. Unfortunately, I have milk, wheat and gluten allergies. And it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo difficult to find DELICIOUS healthy cookies and pastries that don't set off my allergies or taste nasty as hell. (sorry about that; but I am very passionate about my gluten free food.) And unfortunately unless one is actually living this lifestyle, no one knows how painful it is to go cold turkey by no longer being able to eat a chewy buttery bagel from Einstein, Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. :( The gluten free market is very tricky. I have experienced soooooo many products!! Below are just a few of my experiences.. · The cookies, crackers, brownies, cakes, or baked goods taste like BLAND, cardboard with glue, or nasty black licorice. (can we say instant projectile spitting out-- ugh) · The consistency is either too sticky and thick when one begin to chew and swallow it gets stuck in the throat. (can we say: self Heimlich?!?! · It claims to be gluten free but has some other “hidden gluten” additive, thus setting off my allergies and almost sending me to the ER.(Can we say false advertise and lawsuit?) · It smells like play dough and mildew. (How can a company sell something that smells like play dough and mildew?!!?!?!?!?) Yes all are guilty of hiding their nasty misleading treats in a “pretty organic friendly recycled box”. I swear if I had a dollar for every gluten free product I tried I would be very wealthy right now… But when I tasted your products… They were sooooooooo delicious and I went back to purchase more but they were gone. But all of the other nasty products were still there. Whatever you are doing KEEP UP THE OUTSTANDING WORK!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOUR PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
